BEHIND THE MUSIC WITH BRYAN DOE

Bryan Doe has a golden voice, it is absolutely soothing but surprisingly, the gifted artist didn’t always have confidence in his voice. The song NOTHING TO LOSE is a very personal song to Bryan Doe, it talks about how he built the confidence to step up and do what he loves.

“I always wanted to sing but I was afraid that I would have been rejected by the Liberian community.  Reading some of the destructive criticism towards other Liberian artists, I felt frighten to start my career.  I would write and produce songs but just keep them on my computer. One day, my friend who is now my manager, was working on my computer and came across my work.  He listened to them and was really impress. He convinced me to put my work out there.  His words motivated me and I wrote the song NOTHING TO LOSE.  I thought to myself, what the worse that could happen? People either going to accept me or reject me but I’m going to do what I love doing.  NOTHING TO LOSE means a lot to me because it talks about my state of mind when I decided to take the bold steps.  Surprisingly, folks love my voice, my lyrics and the overall song. I’m glad I took that step and I’m grateful it was received well by my fans.”
