James Salinsa Debbah |
The Head coach of Lone Star claimed that his recent threat to resign was a joke intended to get the attention of the Liberia football Association. In a recent Facebook post, Debbah threatened to resign after Liberia’s game with Togo due to unavailability of LFA stakeholders.
RCISPORTS further confirmed, "Coach Debbah told the station that since the game with Djibouti, the Liberian FA has failed to respond to his phone calls and messages.
But just hours after our publication, the Senior Lonestar coach somersaulted on his decision adding that it was a joke to claim the attention of the local football house."
Coach Debbah on the ELBC Friday shamefully boosted that he has no intention to resign despite threats on the social media.
According to him, his mission was to get LFA attention and it was successful. Unfortunately, some football pundits in reaction have hugely criticized the head coach for his conflicting pronouncements.
The pundits said the national team is not for jokers, coach Debbah must maturely deal with his issues and desist from making comments that have the propensity to question his credibility.
