Nigeria's government has ordered the National Broadcasting Commission to investigate why reality TV show Big Brother Nigeria is being filmed in South Africa.

The country’s Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed issued the order in a statement.

He added:

“As a country of laws, only the outcome of the investigation will determine our next line of action.’’

He has since urged the NBC to determine whether South African-owned entertainment firm Multichoice breached the Nigerian Broadcasting Code by staging the show in South Africa.

A probe will also be conducted on whether it was involved in "possible deceit" against the viewing public.

Multichoice is yet to comment on the matter.

Liberia: Kpanto Entertains Small Crowd at Australia Concert

Kpanto's Australia tour's first night in Perth on April 1st was a tour in terms of attendance, but the artist still managed to put up a fantastic show in spite of the low crowd.
