With in a short period, she has exercise strength and determination among her peers.  She posted this inspiring message on her social media page right after her big win:

We Came, We Saw And We Conquer!
Today I am excited and thrilled to be recognized for my work, it has been a long journey, a journey that consist of doubts, hard work, perseverance, the endless love and grace of God. As an up and coming designer, my desire is for my designs to speak volumes to who I am, inspire youths to step into the unknown pursuing their dreams.
We all have different destinies but one unchangeable aspect of life is, we will encounter trials and struggle navigating life, two options, make excuses or believe that God created you for more and let your struggles become a drive motivational power to express yourself through the dusty paths to success.
This is the time for living, living a life that represent and inspire the world, a time to pursue God's desires and dreams for our lives, a time to stand and discover your purpose and character. Ninety nine point nine percent of us have dreams, but dreams and potentials are just dreams and potential, they are intangible until we step into them and accomplish them. So each day is a privilege, so my prospective is never box in.
Thanks To Eugene Roque, Kimberly Smith, Albert karyah, Racheal Taye and the rest of AGR team for recognizing me and making the event successful!
