Chris Rock Is Not Here For Barack & Michelle Obama's Netflix Deal

Chris Rock has some advice for the former president and his lady.

It was recently announced that Michelle and Barack Obama landed a multi-year Netflix deal to produce scripted series, unscripted series, docu-series, documentaries, features and more. "One of the simple joys of our time in public service was getting to meet so many fascinating people from all walks of life, and to help them share their experiences with a wider audience,” Barack said of the move. “That’s why Michelle and I are so excited to partner with Netflix – we hope to cultivate and curate the talented, inspiring, creative voices who are able to promote greater empathy and understanding between peoples, and help them share their stories with the entire world.”
It looks like one of Netflix's other million-dollar signees, Chris Rock, isn't really for the move. The famed comedian recently chatted with The Hollywood Reporter and said he doesn't want to see the Obama's go down that path. "I don't want to live in a world where President Obama is worried about his Rotten Tomatoes score," Chris explained. "I want him above that at all times. Make your money, but I don't want [him] to be involved with that."
When the publication pressed the actor on what the former first couple should with their interest in showbiz he said: "I'd just send them over to Donald Glover. That's what I'd do."

Liberia: Kpanto Entertains Small Crowd at Australia Concert

Kpanto's Australia tour's first night in Perth on April 1st was a tour in terms of attendance, but the artist still managed to put up a fantastic show in spite of the low crowd. Despite Kpanto's tremendous popularity, the attendance was unsatisfactorily low. A video that was just found online shows that there were between 25 and 65 people present. According to the promoter who planned the event, the actual number was 210. Despite all, the musician provided a standout performance.
