Liberian Artist CIC wins five MLMA Awards

The Liberia Music Awards, an important event in Liberia's music industry, occurred on December 14, 2024. The event had numerous memorable moments, highlighted by performances from Nigga Blow, Takun J, Nasseman, Cypha D'King, and others. Despite not performing, CIC was often the center of attention throughout the evening. CIC dominated the Liberia Music Awards, earning five trophies and bringing his career total to 24 awards. He added five more honors to his previous 29 victories, winning Artist of the Year, Best Afropop Artist, Song of the Year, Afropop Song of the Year, and Best Music Video for his song "Congratulations."
CIC has recently returned to Liberia following a successful tour in the United States. He appeared in eleven cities and achieved sold-out status for each concert.

Liberian Superstar Quincy B Dead

2 March 2017 / Berenice Mulubah Quincy B On March 3, 2017, Liberian superstar, Quincy L. Borrow aka Quincy B, died from a car accident, on his way from KARAOKE NITE, in Monrovia, Liberia. The artist was pulled out of the damaged vehicle and rush to the JFK hospital. Quincy B did not survived. Few hours before his death, the artist was spotted live on snap chat, singing Karaoke. Quincy B who was the driver of the car, died immediately. Artists CIC , Margas Bimba and Feouls Kaba in the vehicle, as well, they are at the hospital, being treated. CIC broken his legs in the accident. CIC and Quincy B are nominated for the Liberian Entertainment Awards 2017.
